ABC 3rd Party Testing offers a variety of services in DOT Safety and Compliance with regards to your company and your safety score.
With the new CSA 2010, your safety rating could change as often as every 30 days. A major change in how the FMCSA will review your
company information. It will be more detailed and will consist of more data than that of the current “Safer Stat” program.
We
offer DOT compliance services in areas such as; CSA, Driver Qualification files, Driver Log Audits, assist with maintenance records,
performing Mock audits and customizing your Safety Programs.
Under §391 of the FMCSR, any driver who operates a vehicle with a GVWR of 10,001 pounds or more must have a Driver Qualification File.
When your "DQ" files are not properly maintained, your company is at risk for fines and penalties- your company might even have an
unqualified driver on the road. Simple guidelines and recommendations can help in the task of the hiring process and the Driver.
Whether you are a small carrier or a large one, you should still maintain and audit your drivers daily logs and hours of service.
Your company should be performing these audits at least once a month and maintaining the logs on a daily basis. By keeping track and
auditing your drivers daily logs more frequently it helps in getting the results back quicker for your drivers, so that they can take
corrective action for future logs that are submitted. Are you running your Company or are your drivers?
Under new rules issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the regulations identify 16 violations that FMCSA deems
to be essential elements of basic safety.
ABC 3rd Party Testing can complete a Mock Audit in specific areas under the federal guidelines and advise you of deficiencies and
help you correct the areas that your are lacking in proper procedures and assist you in building a successful safety program in your
company before you receive a DOT audit.
§391.31 Road test - The road test shall be given by the motor carrier or a person designated by it. However, a driver who is a motor
carrier must be given the test by a person other than himself/herself. The test shall be given by a person who is competent to evaluate
and determine whether the person who takes the test demonstrated that he/she is capable of operating the commercial motor vehicle.
Give your drivers the information needed to know what CSA is and how it can affect them as well as your company under the new safety
